How to watch movies on my Iconia Tab using Mac computer? I have the Android Tablet – Acer Iconia Tab A500, and I use iMac running OS X 10.6.7. How can I put movies(DVD movie, MKV, AVI videos) to Iconia Tab A500 via Mac computer? I have tried what feels like everything including Handbrake, didn’t work. So, how can I put movies file to Iconia A500, and how to convert DVD movies, Blu-ray discs, MKV,AVI,MOV,M4V etc videos to Iconia Tab format, then I can paly them on Iconia Tab?

- A thumb drive to transfer files via USB host to Acer Iconia Tab A500
- Aiseesoft Blu-ray Ripper for Mac, Rip Blu-ray discs, DVDs, Convert Videos, output to Iconia Tab (Windows version is here)
- Watch TV shows online via web browser (Adobe Flash Player 10.2 required)
- Read my eBooks using Aldiko (free install) & PDF files Adobe Reader (free install)
- DoubleTwist to sync musics file
- A micro 32 or 16 GB SD card that comes with a USB adapter to copy Musics, Movies and eBooks from Mac computer
- Install Wifi Explorer app, then connect Wi-Fi using any web browser to transfer files to Iconia Tab.

Part 1, How to Convert DVD movies to Iconia Tab format using Mac
Step 1: Install and run this Mac Blu-ray Ripper, load DVD movie files to this Mac Conversion software.
Tip: You can click “Load BLU-ray” to load Blu-ray disc, “Add Video” to import MKV,AVI,MOV,FLV etc videos.
Step 2: Select the best output video format for Acer Iconia Tab A500(also A100, A200)
Choose “Android MP4 Video (*.mp4)” profile, and click “settings” to change resolution as 1024*720, then you can watch 720p HD movies on Acer Iconia Tab A500.
Step 3: Convert DVD to MP4 for Acer Iconia Tab A500 format
Click “OK ” to save settings and return main interface. Click “Convert” button to convert DVD movies to 720p MP4 video for Acer Iconia Tab A500, then you can transfer the converted MP4 videos to Iconia Tab via USB(how to transfer to Iconia in Part 2).
Step 1: Install Astro File Manager (its free)
a. Market and search, download & install Astro File Manager
Step 2: Install Wifi Explorer
b. copy wifi explorer to your thumb drive/ micro SD card
c. plug-in your thumb drive/micro SD card
d. Astro explore (if your are using a Micro SD Card) or (if you are using a thumb drive)
e. find and Wifi Explorer and install the app -> then double tap to exit Astro
Step 3: Using Wifi Explorer to Transfer Files
f. make sure both your laptop and tablet are connected to the same wifi network
g. the wifi explorer app on your tablet
h. launch safari or chrome internet browser on your mac (I prefer Chrome)
i. type in the wifi file explorer web URL in the address bar of internet browser -> as seen on your tablet
j. manage your files from your mac to tablet via internet browser
When you are done just close both the browser and the wifi file explorer app
you should be able to check your movie files in the Movies directory using file manager (e.g. Astro) and watch movies using bulit-in Video player
